Jaele has lived an idyllic life with her family by the sea, raised on the myths of the heroic Queen Galha and her defeat of the accursed Sea Raiders -- a fearsome race long banished to a dry, barren land.

At eighteen, Jaele's life is shattered when her family is murdered by a marauding band of Sea Raiders. Overwhelmed by rage and grief, and armed only with her father's dagger and his stories of a legendary warrior queen, Jaele sets out on her own epic quest for vengeance.
